On-Site HMO Landlord Risk Audit

I visit your property and with you I inspect the outside of the property as well as each room. In addition I go through with you what systems and procedures you use to run your HMO business in order to establish that you are always gathering and storing the correct level and type of evidence that can be used in the event of a court case. You can ask any questions you like and you will benefit from my 16+ years experience of being an HMO landlord with multiple properties and overcoming many problems – including legal challenges by difficult tenants.

In addition, you receive a report that includes clear Recommended Actions in order of priority, and a 30-minute follow-up phone call to discuss any questions that have arisen or to give any further advice.

My focus is to help you avoid any unnecessary future challenges and crises.

Pricing

Audits are only carried out within a 2-hour driving limit from Bristol, e.g. London, Birmingham, Southampton, Oxford, Exeter.
Price: £450.00 for an up to 5-bed HMO, plus £80 travel expenses, or plus £40 for locations within 1 hour of Bristol, e.g. Wiltshire, Gloucestershire. If you have multiple properties please call to discuss pricing.

Landlord Safeguarding Ltd. is owned and operated by James Hunt, an experienced HMO landlord since 2010. In addition to running several HMOs in Cheltenham and Southampton he advises on how to avoid the pitfalls of being an HMO landlord gain greater control over their business. He has also created a series of specialised online tools, apps and automated reports for HMO landlords.

To support the provision of onsite risk audits he is able to draw on the expertise of a former lawyer as well as an administrator. he also draws on his experience of winning several legal cases as well as experience of dispute resolution and IT.
